The historic Metropolitan Business and Arts District is a community for commercial business, visual arts, galleries, and housing. With the abundant history of this building, this wall mural found in the leasing office helps tell the story of previous owners and businesses found in this location. The original site, bought and built in 1915 by Asa Candler, the founder of Coca-Cola, was housing for local cotton growers around Atlanta. This wall portrays the variety of business held in this complex from almost a century ago with photography of the original buildings, newspaper headlines, a logo redesigned to fit the history, and cotton to allude to the original businesses.
